- The role is to Support the Employer Engagement and Internship Manager with efforts to facilitate work experience and employer education to students.- To support with developing employer relationships for students’ employability, including generating work experience opportunities, and organising employer events and workshops (on campus and online).
- To act as first point of contact for incoming internship and employer engagement inquiries.
- To administer placement documentation and ensure all student placements comply with requirements as laid down by the respective Statutory and Regulatory bodies.
- To conduct one-to-ones with students and provide guidance on internship-related matters.
- To establish and maintain a professional level of contact with organisations providing student-facing activity including placement opportunities. This includes the maintenance of a complex database and generating and progressing placement opportunities.

**About You**:

- Degree in a related area OR demonstrable experience obtained in a Higher Education administrative role (preferable) & Evidence of Continued professional development such as an IAG qualification (desirable).
- ideally have experience of working in a higher education setting in a Careers and Employability Service or within customer service.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Access evidenced by an IT qualification or demonstrable experience.
- Comfortable using databases and analysing large data with the ability to understand and maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
