Kings Hill are a family run equine & pet crematorium, based in beautiful farmland in Warwickshire, approximately 6 miles from Nuneaton.

**Job Summary**

Established in 2003, Kings Hill is a private family business which is run by animal lovers who understand the stress and upset of losing a loved pet. Due to our ongoing commitment to provide services across the Midlands & Thames Valley area we are looking to grow our team by recruiting a Crematorium Operative.

Our aim is to offer a very personal and caring service to help horse and domestic pet owners through the difficult time of losing their beloved animals. We pride ourselves at Kings Hill in ensuring dignity and discretion; our service includes collecting animals from both local veterinary practices and homes, we also welcome people to our Farm in Warwickshire. Covering the Midlands & Thames Valley area we have built up a solid reputation over the last 12 years in offering a dedicated and committed service.

**What your role will involve**

Reporting into the Company Director your duties will include:

- Daily collections of animals both from veterinary practices and customer’s homes
- Delivering ashes to our customers
- Delivering veterinary supplies to our key partners
- Dealing with customers and veterinary practices over the phone
- Welcoming customers to the Kings Hill offices
- Operative work with the cremations
- Regular travel and towing of the horse box
- Observing social distancing measures
- Operating relevant tools (laser engraver etc)

Due to the nature of the work that we do, there will be requirements to work out of hours (weekends and evenings)

The Crematorium Operative will need to demonstrate the following skills:

- A full clean UK driving license (trailer license would be preferable) & access to your own vehicle
- Experience of manual work (heavy lifting required)
- Be IT literate with experience of telephone work
- Commutable to the Warwickshire area (we are based in Shenton which is approximately six miles from Nuneaton)
- Empathetic with an understanding of the service that Kings Hill provide
- Able to work flexi-time with some need for weekend and evening work plus some days where you will need to be on call

- Hinckley, Leicestershire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Funeral Director: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
