Tallgrass are currently recruiting for a Workshop Chargehand in Pudsey, West Yorkshire. Someone who has HGV / Large Commercial Experince within a Workshop is desired.

You will be asked to get involved with some of the HGV Servicing work when and if needed.

Your main job will be to run and manage the workshop technicians on a day to day basis.

**Duties**:
**Shift: 4 on 4 off Days.**

To carry out quality checks of the technicians work to enable good standard repairs are maintained at all times
- To assist with Training and development of the apprentice’s including checking and sign off their work
- To assist technicians with problem repairs and provide technical advice where necessary
- Carry out vehicle inspections and repairs to VOSA standards and in line with Company procedures
- Perform preventative and proactive maintenance in line with manufacturers and company policy ensuring equipment is compliant with all aspects of safety and legal legislation in a cost effective manner.
- Demonstrate good diagnosis skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
