**Trade Plate Driver - Based Glasgow or Edinburgh - Travel to Upper Heyford OX25 5HA**

**Self Employed Position. Experience TPD’s (Trade Plate Drivers) preferred.**

**Be your own boss, running your own car/van delivery service. Travel from home in Scotland to our base in Upper Heyford, Oxon (OX25 5HA) then Deliver the Car or Van to Scotland then make your own way home.**

**Work available Monday to Friday - Choose your availability week-by-week. Immediate Starts.**

The ideal applicant for this Self Employed role will live in commuting distance of Glasgow or Edinburgh Train Station or Airport. You'll start there and make your way to Upper Heyford (OX25 5HA) near Bicester to collect your Customer's New Car and drive it to them in Scotland before making your way home. If you plan to work 3 - 5 Consecutive days per week, we'll try to arrange a return vehicle to come back to Upper Heyford to collect your next car etc. etc.

All jobs are on a fixed price basis, we work with numerous clients to source jobs and plan your day as efficiently as possible in order to cut down on your public transport costs wherever possible.

We reimburse all expenses To-The-Driveway (fuel, EV Charge etc.). **You pay for your own public transport costs** but we’re happy to provide you with an optional Prepaid MasterCard to help with out-of-pocket expenses.

Operations are Monday to Friday with early starts and late finishes likely. Your specific jobs are allocated in advance so you can book trains or flights at lowest advance-fare cost. This is a contracted/self-employed role.

Experience with vehicle delivery is desirable. You must be presentable, possess amazing customer service skills, a working knowledge of vehicles, tech-savvy, strong attention to detail, public transport planning ability and happy to work long days on the road delivering new cars to customers across the UK.

This is a self-employed vocation not a job; Experienced drivers know that the days can be long but it’s satisfying work with plenty of time to yourself.

**Your Role**:
As a Brand Ambassador you will have a customer first approach and will be excited about the essential part you play in making your customer’s ‘New Car Day’ a special and immersive experience.

You'll collect cars from our base in Upper Heyford, you will drive new cars and vans to customer driveways or businesses all over the UK, hand them over to the customer and then make your own way back to base (or home) using public transport at your cost however, we try very hard to provide you with nearby collection cars from our large pool of clients.

Your jobs are paid at a fixed price. You have the opportunity to plan your trips in advance so as to achieve the lowest cost public transport advance-booking fares, thereby increasing your profits.

You will be required to complete POC/POD (proof of collect & delivery) reports via a mobile app on your phone. For this reason. Cars must be delivered clean and with the required amount of fuel or EV charge.

**Our Role**:
We will pay you a fixed price for each job which you will know in advance. Payment via bank transfer is bi-weekly, one week in arrears.

**What kind of person we are looking for**:

- The ability to drive all types of vehicles from small city cars to prestigious electric cars and vans, both automatic and manual.
- Must be well presented, self-sufficient and able to deliver a high level of customer service.
- Good geographical knowledge of the UK road and public transport networks
- Flexible and adaptable
- The ability to work under pressure within a dynamic transport environment.
- It will be advantageous If you have experience with Trade Plate Deliveries including EV’s (Electric Vehicles) but not essential.
- Tech Savvy.

- Minimum 2-years driving experience (insurance provider requirement).
- Minimum age: 25 (insurance provider requirement).
