- This is an exciting opportunity in a busy team within Student Support. The Student Money Adviser is a new role within our Financial Aid team as we look to develop specialist advice to ensure our students progress and complete their studies at Oxford Brookes.- The post holder will work with the Financial Aid Manager to develop casework, promote money management, create publications on money advice and guidance and promote the service across the student and staff community. In addition, you will provide excellent student support by participating in events, campaigns and initiatives throughout the year to support recruitment activities, retention and promote Student Support Services.**You will be offering advice on**:

- Eligibility and entitlement to student funding
- Money management and budgeting
- Social security welfare benefits
- The financial implications of taking a break from your studies
- The financial implications of transferring courses, institutions, repeating or withdrawing.

**You should have**:

- A degree or relevant experience
- Experience of providing specialist advice and casework in Student funding and fees
- Proven ability to prioritise own work, meet deadlines and manage a caseload
- Experience of working within a confidential environment.
