**PARTS ADVISOR (ATV & Garden Machinery)**

**The Role**

Inverurie Garden & Machinery Centre is recruiting for a full time **Parts Advisor** for our busy workshop.

Hours are Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 and Saturdays on a rota basis.

This is an office-based role that would suit an individual with prior knowledge and understanding of the stores/parts department environment and experience in the ordering of parts, client customer service and the allocation of items to and from the shop floor. This is an exciting opportunity which includes working alongside a friendly and hard-working team.

The Part Advisor delivers unrivalled levels of customer service, and a modern and efficient parts service. The main priority is to maintain a high level of service to the front-counter but you will be involved in all areas of the Parts Department including workshop.

The parts advisor role includes but is not limited to:

- Organising and co-ordinating machinery parts both receiving goods in, cataloguing and storing and their sales and distribution
- Maximising sales volumes and margins
- Accurately identifying customer parts requirements
- Liaising with Workshop Manager to accurately identify workshop parts requirements
- Maintaining parts stock and records, including scheduled audits and stock checks
- Processing parts orders efficiently
- Contributing to departmental compliance with company policies and industry guidelines
- Promoting parts and Accessory sales
- High level of customer satisfaction
- Knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools and materials used within maintenance
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of basic techniques related to repair and servicing
- Working knowledge of Dealer Business Process and Best Practice, Green Logic Systems,, MS Office Suite & fast at learning new software.
