**Link3 Recruitment is actively seeking a dynamic and creative SENCo to join a thriving primary school in Nottingham (NG16).**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- As the SENCo, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring an inclusive and supportive learning experience for all students, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Overseeing the provision of targeted support for students with special educational needs, fostering collaboration with teachers, parents, and external agencies.
- Leading and guiding the SEN department, providing support to a team of dedicated professionals.
- Collaborating with teachers to devise and implement effective strategies for Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and other tailored support measures.
- Conducting assessments and diligently monitoring the progress of students with special educational needs, making adjustments as necessary.
- Ensuring strict compliance with relevant legislation and maintaining meticulous records of support provision.

**Requirements**:
**To thrive in this role, you should have**:

- QTS and teaching qualification; ideally holding a PgCert SENCo award or possessing relevant experience working with students with special educational needs in a school setting.
- Strong familiarity with relevant legislation, including the SEND Code of Practice.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach towards working with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
