**Fundraising Co-Ordinator**
**Main Purpose of the Role**:
To raise funds for Cotswold Friends Community Services, working with the Fundraising Manager as directed:
**Grant & Trusts**
- Research new sources of grant income to match these with the charity’s services and projects
- Write grant reports to funders, ensuring deadlines are met
- Keep accurate records in the office and on shared files
- Maintain grant income and funder records on the charity database
- Work with the Fundraising Manager and the Finance Manager to ensure grants are allocated correctly to charity services
- Build and maintain donor relationships
**Sustainable Funding**
- Develop positive relationships with local groups and organisations who may contribute funding to Cotswold Friends
- Work to support the corporate fundraising programme with local businesses
- Work with the towns and villages the charity supports to encourage fundraising activity on behalf of the charity
- Support community fundraising events, with the help of the Volunteer Fundraising Group e.g. cake bakes, clothes collections, raffles and sponsored events
- Support other sustainable fundraising initiatives as required
**Experience Required**
- Experience of charity fundraising, bid writing an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience of event organisation and community fundraising
- Some knowledge of charity/voluntary/community services sector
- Deadline and outcome focused
- Confident to present to groups as required
- Experience of working with volunteers
- Good IT skills, ability to use Word, Excel, and database packages
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good organisational skills
An induction program and training in Cotswold Friends systems and processes will be provided.

**Contract Type**: 12 months fixed term contract (with a possibility to extend)
**Hours per week**: 16 hours over three days per week, remote working or office working, minimum one day per month in the office location.
**Salary Type**:Salary monthly
**Salary**: £13.80 per hour
**What level of DBS check? **Enhanced
