At Woodside Green, A SHARE Primary Academy we take pride in developing effective teaching and learning by holding the highest expectations of all our pupils and knowing the children well. We challenge all children to strive for academic, creative, sporting and personal accomplishment within a broad, vibrant and enriched curriculum.

The wellbeing of our pupils is at the heart of our work. By providing a well-structured and engaging curriculum and promoting good behaviour choices through our school behaviour policy of Ready, Respectful, Safe, we aim to enthuse in all pupils a love of learning as well as respect and care for each other and the world in which we live.

We know children learn best when home and school work together and value the partnership with families. Our aim is to communicate clearly and encourage all parents to take an active part in their child’s education.

We encourage children to take ownership of, and responsibility for their behaviour and learning so they have the confidence and curiosity to ask questions, solve issues and problems and respond to feedback. Children are praised for their hard work, determination and having a positive attitude.

In order to create an inclusive school where everyone can flourish, whatever their background, we promote an ethos of respect and empathy, where diversity is valued and celebrated, both within school and the wider world.

Whatever the needs of your child and whatever special interests they have, we aim to ensure your child thrives at Woodside Green, A SHARE Primary Academy feeling safe, making friends, learning well and enjoying success.
