**Compliance Officer**

**Sanctuary Lodge, Halstead (possibility for Hybrid working after successful completion of probationary period)**

**£20,000 - £25,000 P/A (Dependent on experience)**

**40 hours per week, Monday to Friday**

You’ll be responsible for quality checking Reports and information to ensure accuracy, and compiling data surrounding accuracy of reports to share back with the Line Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will come from a Senior Administrative background (and be eager to learn and train in the role) or have experience as a Compliance Administrator.

**Main duties of the Compliance Officer**
- To check on-site logs to ensure they are being updated as and when required by the relevant staff
- To ensure that reporting of training modules and training schedule on site is being recorded and reported accurately by the relevant staff
- To ensure that HR records are being kept up to date by the Administration staff and completed on schedule, and report back to the Line Manager if there are gaps or discrepancies
- To check that HR duties are being adhered to within the Centre, e.g. Supervisions, Appraisals, Probation Meetings, and report back to the Line Manager if they are not
- To ensure that such HR duties are being accurately recorded and are kept on the HR file by the Staff
- To ensure that Policies and procedures/ Company Handbooks & Health and Safety documents are being distributed to the team and acknowledged or signed as required.
- To report into the Line Manager when logs and reports are not being completed with accuracy
- Ensure that staff on site are adhering to Compliance and Reporting Duties accurately and on schedule
- Keep a log of any inaccuracies of reporting or compilation of data/ HR records (to be reported back to the Line Manager)
- Compilation of data & data analysis

**Essential criteria**:

- Minimum of Level 3 Business and Administration Qualification or equivalent OR experience in a similar role
- Previous experience of Compliance duties
- Confidence to work on own initiative
- Strong team player and interpersonal skills
- Takes a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple demands
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to respond flexibly to the demands of the role

**Education**:
