Exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Accountant to join a top 10 firm in a non-audit capacity. Providing excellent career progression and development opportunities, this is a great chance to really drive your career forward.

This is a newly formed team experiencing rapid growth, but you will be part of a much larger, global organisation. You will work with a large variety of clients from ambitious SMEs to large, multi-national groups.

**Financial Reporting Senior Business Adviser - About the Role**:

- Prepare statutory accounts under UK GAAP and other relevant accounting frameworks.
- Prepare consolidations and cash flow for year-end statutory accounts and year end accounting files accounting files for audit either by internal and external auditors.
- Identify potential issues with the consolidation along with the proposing solutions.
- Assist in research of complex technical area and offer solutions.
- Assist in preparing IFRS 9, IFRS 16, share options, and adding accounting entries to tax papers.
- Understand the logic of a cashflow statement enabling issues to be identifies and solutions proposed.

**The successful Financial Reporting Senior Business Adviser will have**:

- Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA or equivalent
- Strong working knowledge of FRS102, IFRS and UK GAAP
- Experience in a trainee or senior role at a Public Practice, including delivering statutory accounts preparation or audit services to large businesses.
- Good understanding of business controls and month/year end controls
- Excellent current working knowledge of outsourcing and bookkeeping on a monthly basis.
- Evidence of ability to research technical accounting matters.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Competent in the use of Caseware and other relevant accounts production software
