Pastoral Officer | Secondary School | Non-Class based role | Immediate Start

Pastoral Officer required for a secondary school in Redbridge to start as soon as possible for long term contract that will run for the whole academic year.
- Pastoral Officer within a specialist pastoral unit
- Removing barriers to learning
- *Pastoral support to 11-16 year olds
- *Action planning and assessments

Great opportunity for experienced Pastoral Officer to start immediately at vibrant 11-16 secondary school in East London. The role is base in the specialist Behavioural and Pastoral unit giving emotional support to 11-16 year olds who are struggling in theSchool environment.

Students could be attending the unit for a variety of reasons including self-harm, bereavement, emotional problems or being disruptive in class. You will benefit from a dynamic and hard-working staff team that really enjoy the work they do.

Applicants should be empathetic individuals with previous experience working with vulnerable 11-16 year olds whether this be in a school or similar environment. You should be a confident Pastoral Officer with the ability to take on a case load doing 1:1intervention, assessments and action plans.
