- Acting as the first point of contact for the early intervention and preventative services you’ll provide advice and guidance to families ensuring high quality support is provided in order to reduce inequalities in child development and school readiness.- Working days are Tuesday and Thursday at Patchway Children's Centre and Friday at Yate Children's Centre.**What will you be doing?**
- In this role you will provide general information and advice to parents and carers. Acting as the first point of contact for parents and other service users seeking information about Children’s Centre services.
- You’ll assist parents to register for services, inputting information on the relevant system and undertaking financial transactions, signposting to parents and other service users. In some cases, you will signpost service users to other organisations and agencies for services that are not provided through the centre.
- On a daily basis you will ensure services and activities are publicised effectively and that all relevant publication materials are up-to-date and available to service users.
- As part of your role you will be required to open and close the centre to suit the demands of the service and you will liaise with the responsible service regarding the opening and closing of Centre buildings and premises.

- You will hold a 3 GCSE’s grades C or above or equivalent qualifications or relevant experience in a similar role.
- You’ll have previous experience of working in a customer focussed environment, working directly with clients.
- You should have excellent communication skills across a variety of platforms.
