**Job Title: Senior Motor Vehicle Technician**

**Location**:Stoke Poges, Slough

**Pay rate**: £35 - £40,000 per annum (Dependent upon experience and qualifications).

**Job Outline**:
Excellent opportunity to work for a fast growing, state of the art motor vehicle repair and test centre. My client are looking for an experienced Level 2 (or above) vehicle technician, ideally with an MOT licence to join their busy and expanding business,a well-run, modern garage; specializing in German manufactured vehicles. Ideally, you will have experience of working on German vehicles and hold a full level 3 automotive certificate, with experience of MOT testing in addition to the vehicles inspectionsand diagnosis.

**Key Features of the role**:

- You must have 3 years+ experience of working within the automotive industry, be able to work to own initiative and also in a team.
- Supervisory experience, overseeing and mentoring other technicians
- Carry our service, diagnostic and repair work, as directed.
- Inspecting for wear and tear/general faults
- Completing work to DVSA standards
- Carry out MOT inspections on vehicles (Desirable)
- Provide excellent customer service and deliver best practice, synonymous with luxury manufacturing brand

**Skills/Experience**:

- IT Literacy
- Previous experience as a Technician: Minimum 2 years
- A valid full UK driving license
- Attention to Detail and Accuracy
- A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum - ideally Level 4 trained)
- Proven track record in fault finding on can-bus and lin-bus systems.
- The knowledge to use modern diagnostic equipment
- A strong knowledge of electrical, electronic components
