**Company Background**:
Sabichi Homewares was established in 1994 with one mission - to bring fabulous homewares to UK consumers at a great prices. The company supplies housewares products to major UK retailers, independent businesses as well as key retailers abroad. Sabichi designs, develops, produces, imports and exports products under the Sabichi, Haden and PIFCO brands, as well as creating bespoke programmes in customers’ private label brands.

In 2016, Sabichi acquired an iconic British small electricals brand Haden. Since the acquisition Haden have launched many ‘Quintessentially British’ design ranges including small domestic appliances, cookware, kitchen accessories and major domestic appliances. Since the launch Haden has seen a huge success both in the UK and internationally.

In 2020, Sabichi acquired another iconic and heritage electrical brand, PIFCO. The brand relaunched with an exciting new brand identity in Summer 2021. PIFCO create products that make those every day moments matter, categories include heating, personal care, utility and even a category to help you sleep better.

**The Junior Buyer Role**:

- Identifying key and commercial opportunities within designated categories for our specific brands.
- Source and manage the range through from initial concept to market. Liaising directly with manufacturing partners on product development, samples and problem solving.
- Collaborating closely with key workstreams across the business, including QA, Design & Logistics to manage timely and correct handover of final products.
- Working closely with the National Accounts team to respond to any specific product briefs from retail partners, and running any potential product pitch.
- Keeping a close eye on the market across each product category and brand as well as conducting regular competitor analysis.
- Running a tight critical path on any new products to ensure timely, efficient & accurate shipments of new ranges.
- Manage the administration of your assigned product area, maintaining accurate data entry
- Making sure all ranges developed within your categories are trading through, analysis and action where required.
- Thinking out of the box to identify market gaps and make range/brand improvements.

**What You’ll Need**
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience with buying skills and understanding of the buying process (ideally experience within Homewares).
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent experience working with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Commercial acumen and a passion for the sector and its products.
- An understanding of what motivates customers to buy individual products.
- Exceptional team working.
- Data accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Strong customer focus.
- Numeracy and IT skills.

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£32,500.00 per year
