Control Panel Builder

As a Control Panel Builder/ Wireman/Electrical Fitter you will be primarily responsible for building & wiring control panels from start to finish, installation into machinery & wiring of internal components & motors. Live testing of finished panels and machinery. Majority of the work be be done at our factory in Morecambe so you must be able to relocate or travel.

Duties within the role include (but not limited to, other duties may be required in quiet periods):

- Reading electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings from AutoCAD
- Marking out components, drilling & tapping, fitting of components to back plates
- Wiring & labelling of control panels for machinery automation & motor control systems
- Quality check the control panels for any faults and remedial action for any mistakes
- Work quickly and methodically to ensure that build times are adhered to
- Checking against all documentation as part of our ISO
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area, using hand, air & battery operated tools where required

**The Ideal Person: Skills & Experience Preferred**
- Experience of building and wiring control panels, Ideally be time served / completed apprenticeship as an Electrical Fitter / Panel Wirer, Electrical Engineer.
- Relevant qualifications & responsibilities:

- As a Panel Builder/Wireman, you will be responsible for building and installing electrical wiring systems in our range of machinery.
- Read and interpret AutoCAD electrical diagrams and wiring diagrams to determine the layout required and wiring connections to be made.
- Must posses own hand tools and multi meter. Drills and air tools provided.
- Full clean driving licence essential to drive company vehicles, Fork Lift licence beneficial.
- Due to the nature of the job people with Colour Blindness cannot be considered.
- Only people with a right to work in the UK can be considered.

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
