**Food and Beverage Supervisor**

**DEPARTMENT**:Hotel Food & Beverage

**REPORTING TO**:F&B Manager/Assistant F&B Manager

**JOB FUNCTION**:Responsible for the overall food and beverage experience, ensuring guests receive, fast, friendly and efficient service at all times.

**LOCATION**:Central London

**CONTRACT**:Permanent, 40 hours and 5 of 7

**PLAY YOUR PART (Main Responsibilities)**:

- Compilation of reports and communications to all areas daily.
- Monitoring team members’ performance, coaching, training, and assisting where necessary.
- To ensure the punctuality and time keeping of the team to meet Rota requirements.
- To minimize waste of man-hours through effective rostering, ensuring no unnecessary over time and overbooking of agency staff.
- Ensure enough equipment is in stock for the smooth running of the business.
- To attend any meetings or training sessions as required by management.
- To complete daily to do lists /check lists as set by Head of Department.
- To deal with any immediate guest complaint in the outlets, and follow up the outcome, informing Head of Departments daily.
- Overseeing all follow up work to ensure non-recurrence of errors wherever possible
- Preparing and coordinating the periodical training of team members.
- Managing day to day operation from the front, based on hotel procedures and standards.
- Supervising all areas for cleanliness, proper operations and systems that will improve guest satisfaction and service.
- Maintaining and developing the methods of administration for all outlets.
- Coordinating the maintenance and development for high quality preparation of food and drink.
- Ensuring an efficient scheduling is in place to ensure high standard of service according to businesses levels.
- Supervising all food safety, health and safety policies and procedures
- Analysing customer feedback, correcting, and acting where and when necessary.
- Assisting the food & Beverage management in overtaking any other responsibilities when necessary.
- To be totally conversant with Symphony and its operation.
- Ability to transmit a hospitality culture to the team, making the place to work fun, professional and safe.
- To be flexible and extend job duties to carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities which are requested by the Hotel Management.

- To create a safe environment and act to protect all young people and vulnerable adults that are either in your care or attending club premises, and report any concerns to the Safeguarding Lead
- To report any misconduct or suspected misconduct to the HR Department

**HERE TO WIN (Measures of Performance)**:

- Service is the key priority, focusing in ensuring all areas are staffed by trained staff appropriately.

- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks according to their importance.

**Qualifications**:

- Food Safety Level 2 preferred
- Valid working Visa for the UK (at least 18 months)

**Experience**:

- Previous Bar, Restaurant and Room Service experience in a similar sized Hotel

**Skills and Behaviours**:

- Able to work as a team player
- Available to work shifts, weekends and occasional nights, as required.
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer care skills
