Head Housekeeper

**Housekeeper required 37.5 hours per week**

**Mon - Fri however must be able to cover weekends for holidays or sickness**

**Must be flexible and willing to cover extra shifts for holidays etc.**

**Must be able to lead a team and ensure the highest quality care in regard to cleanliness and laundry facilities.**

**Experience with audits, staff supervisions and appraisals preferred**

**REPORTING TO**:Home Manager and/or their delegate

**JOB PURPOSE**:

- To plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality domestic and laundry provision, in conjunction with other staff.
- To ensure all relevant staff comply with the policies and procedures of the company.
- To maintain a safe and secure environment for Residents, Staff Members and Visitors.

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:

- Good communication Skills
- Genuine interest in, and experience of working with, the relevant Client group
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Team Player
- Satisfactory DBS check
- Have a genuine interest in high standards of cleanliness

**Desired**:

- Previous supervisory experience
- Experience / Qualification domestic, kitchen or laundry management
- Willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes

**Salary**: £12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
