Due to continued expansion within the used car department we are now recruiting for a full time Retail Inventory Controller to join our Used Car Operations Team and to become an integral part of this exciting expansion.
**What does the role of Retail Inventory Controller involve?**
- Reviewing stock and sales information to identify retail opportunities
- Making retail or trade decisions on stock
- Feeding back findings to buying and pricing functions
- Reviewing internal processes and measuring success
- Reviewing stock levels within the dealership and identifying shortfalls.
- Reviewing stock profiles in our production factories and dealerships
- Maintaining and replenishing stock for used car sales based on analysis of data
- Investigation of reporting from analytics team
- Liaising with business partners in logistics, vehicle preparation and remarketing
- Controlling processes within the department to ensure smooth business operation
- Develop a clear understanding of our dealer management system
For the Retail Inventory Controller, we are looking for an excellent communicator, who is organised and can demonstrate effective analytical, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Experience within the motor trade is not essential but would be beneficial, as full training will be provided. A clear focus and decision-making skills are essential for this role, along with a working knowledge of excel.
