Automation Tester

Location:

- £35,000 - £45,000/annum

As an Automation Tester, you will have the opportunity to work with the latest Microsoft Technologies and work as part of an engineering project team to deliver robust and innovative technology solutions to customers worldwide.

You will be responsible for defining and delivering an automated test suite for new product development, working closely with the development teams, carrying out a mixture of manual UI-based and automated script-based tests on products, and tracking issues and reporting to the Software team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and deliver an automated test suite for a new product development
- Work closely with development teams, carrying out manual UI-based and automated script-based tests on products, tracking issues and reporting to the Software team
- Use and extend Continuous Delivery System to assess software quality and readiness for deployment
- Leading, developing, and contributing to test strategies, including the assessment of technologies and methods used for the continuous integration, test, and delivery pipeline
- Develop new strategies to validate all aspects of the software lifecycle

**Key Skills**:

- Test experience including developing automated testing frameworks
- Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn new skills and technology
- Experience with Continuous Integration Systems such as TeamCity or Jenkins
- Developing and executing C# unit and integration testing
- Issue tracking systems, such as Jira or similar

The salary for this role is expected to be between £35,000 and £45,000 depending on experience.
