Head Housekeeper

The Red Admiral is looking for a lead housekeeper to join our friendly team. The main duties are to ensure the rooms and communal areas are kept to an exceptional standard and to manage the housekeeping rota alongside the hotel manager.

The main role will involve cleaning and maintaining the guest bedrooms ready for guests checking in and during their stay with us and ensuring the other housekeepers work to the expected standard; offering training and guidance where necessary.

An organised and methodical approach to work will be essential

Key Tasks
- Cleaning and preparation of guest bedrooms
- Management, organisation and ordering of laundry and any cleaning materials
- Communication with hotel management to ensure a superb quest experience
- Management of any other housekeeping and communication with any maintenance staff (when required)

**Salary**: £12.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gosforth, Cumbria: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- housekeeping: 1 year (preferred)
