Workshop Assistant
Location: Pickering
Hourly Rate: £10.50 - £11.25 per hour
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday
We are looking for an experienced hands on general workshop assistant to join a very busy production department for a very busy company in the Pickering Area.
You will be expected to perform general duties including Spray Painting and Light Assembly. You will also be required to carry out further duties within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities:

- Spray paint finishing components
- Assemble fabricated metal parts
- Ensure the equipment and tools are calibrated before use
- Other general workshop and finishing health and safety rules and procedures
- Ensure Health and Safety compliance is being undertaken within your working area
- Clean and lap parts
- Perform any re-work if applicable
Skills Required:

- Have excellent communication Skills
- Be polite, dependable ,professional and helpful
- Possess good written and spoken skills
- Be able to work under pressure in an organised manner
- Always show good attention to detail
- Be self-motivated and able to use own initiative
- Maintain accuracy
- Focus on creating a finished product
