Store Person

Activus Recruitment have an immediate vacancy for an experienced Store Person to join our clients team in Colpy, Insch.

The Stores Person is an integral part of our clients team managing the following tasks:

- Purchasing & pricing materials for some scopes of work.
- Ordering of gas and fuel for site as necessary.
- Receiving all incoming goods according to procedure; this will involve loading and unloading items using the Fork Lift Truck, ensuring storage areas are maintained in a neat, tidy and safe condition at all times.
- Receiving all items into stock and document all appropriate paperwork including NRI's.
- Ensuring goods delivered are accurate in quantity, match certification and delivery note.
- Ensuring stock is deducted from completed work orders accurately and on time.
- Dispatching stock to workshops with all correct packaging, certification, documentation and signage/placards (hazardous and non hazardous) as required.
- Liaising with customer and vendor representatives regarding incoming and outgoing goods.
- Achieving KPI's including continuous improvement of the procurement process and continuous improvement of the control procedures.
- Ensure COSHH is handled and stored correctly.
- Conducting regular audits and stock takes to ensure accuracy within the warehouse.
- Keeping Stores areas clean and tidy and safe from hazards.
- General data input into company system.

**Requirements**:

- ‍Previous experience within a similar role.
- Driving licence highly advantageous due to the location of the role.
- You should have good IT skills although training on the company systems would be given.
- Forklifts tickets preferred.
- Some experience with steelwork and materials is favourable.
- Excellent people skills required.
- Due to the busy nature of the role you must be able to work at pace without compromising high standards.

**Working Hours**:
Mon-Fri - 7am-5pm
Saturday - 7am-12 noon

**Rate**:
£13.50ph (over-time rates available)
