We are a progressive and ambitious large company based in Ebbw Vale in a 100000 square foot modern environmentally friendly factory. To strengthen our Design and Sales Team we are looking for an enthusiastic Designer with determination, ambition, and self-motivation to support our continual drive for growth.
We are a highly reputable and respected company and are seeking a talented individual to join our friendly and professional team.
We are targeting substantial growth to our furniture turnover over the next few years and aim to build on an already successful team.
**Role**
Working in the Design team you will be responsible for developing FF&E solutions, working closely with clients and end users. You will be using a variety of CAD based packages and preparing costings and quotations in a timely manner. A "hands on" role, you will be building excellent working relationships with our customers to meet their expectations.
- Developing relationships with customers and architects.
- Liaising with construction specialists, architects and end users to understand their requirements and tailoring our offering to best meet their design brief.
- Assist directors in Achieving new and existing account generation, sales & margin targets.
- Becoming an expert in our product & service, allowing you to not only adapt to client needs, but exceed them.
- Building brand awareness and implementing the business plan to increase lead flow through increased reputation & social media.
**Requirements**:
A Designer with good education and minimum of 2 years’ experience to further build our reputation and influence in the Furniture sector.
- You will need to be able to demonstrate design experience & high levels of service along with a strong understanding of the Furniture trade.
- A strong team player with the ability to work closely with others in a very tight knit team.
- An entrepreneurial spirit who desires to drive high levels of business.
- Exceptional time management skills.
- An excellent communicator.
- IT literate with the ability to use Microsoft Office and various CAD systems.
- A strong social media presence.
- The experience to be able to design from plans using our CAD systems such as AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign and photo shop.
- The ability to interpret client supplied drawings and models for use in our solutions.
- You will need to be self-motivated and have the ability to work effectively alone or as part of an already successful & ambitious team.
- Meticulous eye for detail with an intellect to digest and learn a broad range of product information.
- Using the Adobe suite to produce product literature, product data sheets and presentation material.
- A passion for improving the customer experience and the ability to see things from the customers perspective.
- Creative thinker and problem solver.
- The ability to contact and visit our Customers, Architects, and Builders to promote our services.
- The experience to deal with the builders, senior managers and customers directly, and confident in attending meetings and presenting our solutions.
- A design degree is ideal but we will consider applicants with significant general Revit & Design experience
- An insatiable appetite to Design creative solutions to the highest level of customer service.
