The role will bewill be toprovide a professional and high quality reception service and administrative support for Bay Urgent Care GP OOHs service, working onthe following shift pattern - evenings / weekends via a 4 weekly rolling rota.

**Main duties of the job**

The post holder will work evenings / weekends and bank holidays at the GP OOHs service providing reception and administrative support to the services we provide. The post holder will accept the responsibility for aspiring to achieve, share a corporate pride in achievements and values and strive to act as an ambassador for good quality.

The post holder will work evenings / weekends and bank holidays at the GP OOHs service providing reception and administrative support to the services we provide. The post holder will accept the responsibility for aspiring to achieve, share a corporate pride in achievements and values and strive to act as an ambassador for good quality.

**The post holder will be responsible for**:

- Greeting patients and processing information received accurately
- Contacting and making urgent appointments for patients
- Managing the patient flow via the Adastra system, ensuring a safe service.
- Managing GPs and Nurse practitioners during your shift.
- Gathering information received from patients and clinicians accurately, concisely and within the computer system
- Where applicable, undertaking basic information for triage by a clinician via the phone or face to face
- To inform clinicians if any deterioration of patients in the waiting room
- Ensuring full patient confidentiality at all times
- Telephone answering, faxing, photocopying, scanning if required
- Liaising with external agency, i.e. 111, hospital departments, Ambulance service and other health care professional
- Working effectively under pressure in a calm and confident manner
- Maintaining a consistent, quality and professional service
- Working as an individual and as part of an established team
- Administration duties to assist the Service Lead and Operational Support
- Adhere to policies and procedures of the company and keep up to date with any changes

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
