Trainee Groundworker/builder

A position has arisen for a Trainee Ground Worker/Builder, working as part of a team on Petrol Stations and similar settings Nationwide.

The position would entail all aspects of ground works including but not limited to Excavations, Concreting, fencing and various drainage works. Essential training will be given for using various hire equipment if required.

This is a serious career opportunity where the employee can work up the ranks to maybe lead a team themselves one day. The job is a specialist field because of the environment so would need someone who listens, absorbs information and is keen and enthusiastic to get stuck in.

It would mean mostly working away from home Monday to Friday (although sometimes local) but all travel and associated accommodation costs will be covered by DTFS.

A full current driving licence is essential as you will be expected to be picked up from a meeting point in the Barnsley/Rotherham area.

Starting salary circa £20,000 per annum but with scope to be increased depending on age and experience.
