An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Britten Norman. Due to ongoing growth we are now recruiting for an aircraft fitter to join us at our Lee-on-the-Solent based team.

We are seeking an aircraft fitter to join our production team to enable continued performance in a unique manufacturing environment. The role will be completing production, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft to final installation stages and release of the aircraft.

Working as part of a team you will work to deadlines by using your experience in metalworking and aviation to proactively solve problems and deliver results.

**Primary Tasks**

Main tasks will include but are not limited to:

- Production line fitting, installation, overhaul, and upgrading of aircraft.
- Identifying areas of improvement in build process.
- Ensuring quality standards are maintained to the highest level in compliance with company policy.
- Maintaining audit requirements by completing relevant documentation.
- Interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining tool control

**Minimum Qualification Requirements**:

- Aircraft relevant engineering apprenticeship or armed forces equivalent. This apprenticeship will have involved substantial metalworking skills.
- English& Maths GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above
**Required Experience**
- Experience with aircraft production, repair, or overhaul
- Working to engineering drawings
- Leading health and safety compliance through your roles.
