The City Council’s Child Road Safety Training Team is looking for a trainer to join our existing child pedestrian trainers to train Primary children in vital road safety skills. You will be working with year 3 children, in schools across Brighton & Hove. The training consists of practical roadside training, and you will be involved in taking out small groups of children and teaching them skills that will equip them to cross the road safely in preparation for future independent travel.

**Closing Date: Midnight Sunday 2 April 2023**

**Interview Date: Wednesday 12 April 2023**

**About the role**:
The main requirements are good communication, timekeeping and organisational skills. Have an understanding of pedestrian safety and traffic awareness, and the ability to work effectively as a member of a team with children and adults.

Work is 30 hours per week during school term-times only.

Salary is pro-rota.
