The Port of Tilbury are experiencing exciting growth, and this year we are delighted to be adding a number of Apprenticeship positions to join our teams. These roles will offer the chance to join us on a 2 year programme, where you will learn a number of tasks across the port operations, and will have valuable on the-job training, as well as comprehensive learning & development in our training centre, After the apprentice programme, you will then become a fully qualified port operator.

Whether you are a school leaver, moving on from further education, looking for further support in an area you are passionate about or are interested in a career change, we'd love to hear from you. We have over 15 opportunities for Apprentices here at the Port, and will be running two in-person assessment days in August.

We are looking for enthusiastic and ambitious individuals who wish to undertake high quality training on a range of mechanical plant & equipment whilst gaining real work experiences across several port assets. A willingness to learn, be open to guidance and adhering to port Health & Safety measures is key.

**What will I learn?**

This is a fantastic opportunity to not only learn the workings of the wider port operations, and make a great step into the industry, but you will also learn to operate a range of plant in busy working environments and projects. In addition, you will gain an oversight of other business functions and learn about the importance & significance of Health & Safety policies and processes. Upon the end of your 2 year apprenticeship programme, will be a fully trained operative

**What are we looking for?**
- Individuals who are able to demonstrate a genuine interest in the work that we do at the port, and are looking to develop a strong foundation to your career
- Due to the nature of the work, we are looking for individuals who would be comfortable working both at height and within small spaces at times
- We do require all individuals who work at our port to be at least 18 years of age
