**An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ARA Validations Analyst, to join our client, a leading global FMCG company with Brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil & Simple based at their headquarters in Blackfriars, London or can be based remotely.**

**This is a full-time temporary role until 3rd March 2023 working a 36.25-hour week, to start ASAP.**

**This role is paying between £40,000k - £43,000k per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.**

U/L offers you the opportunity to assist with the validation of claims made in the Strategic report of U/L Group's Annual Report and Accounts (ARA). The Strategic report is a culmination of the efforts of an independent author, the communications team anda number of contributors from different categories and departments in the business. As the ARA is a public document every statement released in the public domain has to be supported by evidence which is held in archive should U/L ever be challenged on them.Strategic report statements also have to be consistent with information in the rest of the ARA. A Validations team are tasked with gathering evidence on all the claims within the document before it goes to press. Information within the Strategic Report isnot necessarily financial in nature so there is no requirement for advanced financial reporting or accounting skills, although this would be useful to understanding the Strategic Report in the context of the whole Annual Report and Accounts.

**Role**:

- Gathering evidence from various stakeholders, auditing the evidence and documenting that properly
- Understand the nature of handling restricted information within the business
- Work closely with financial reporting accountants as well as communications experts

**Required skills**
- Evidence of handling large quantities of information and working under time pressure is required
- Project management
- Qualified or semi qualified accountant - nice to have
- Previous experience in financial reporting/auditing - nice to have
- MS Office incl. Teams, Sharepoint
- Communications skills
- Attention to detail
- Working to tight deadlines
- Strong Team ethic
