**Senior Technology Recruiter, Manchester**
**Role Summary**

Manchester is one of our fast-growing strategic growth offices and we now have the need for an experienced technology recruiter to look after the day to day hiring needs and strategy for the location.

This is a great time to join our EMEA TA team. We have an exciting opportunity to further develop how and who we hire in an environment where two days are rarely the same. This role will focus on current and future hiring needs, predominantly in Manchester, UK (may also include London and other areas of the UK from time to time)

You will partner with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, HR Services and your TA colleagues to deliver an efficient, effective and high-quality recruitment experience for all involved, end-to-end. This is also an opportunity for you to bring your demonstrable success in traditional and out-of-the box Tech sourcing techniques and approaches and be our Tech recruiter guru.

**More about what you’ll be doing**:

- Managing a portfolio of Technology roles, ensuring we hire the best people for these positions, and the company, using internal and external hiring channels
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with hiring managers to fully understand their business areas and requirements and create a recruitment partnership
- Continually developing your understanding of the business and creating your internal network
- Providing recruitment support with other roles around the business as needed
- Using your market and recruitment experience to keep hiring managers, the TA team and broader HR team aware of trends and developments
- Handling administrative tasks including interview scheduling, ensuring a high level of data integrity in the ATS system, maintaining spreadsheets and completing paperwork as needed
- Collaborating and proactively sharing ideas and knowledge with the broader TA team
- Using your knowledge of employment law to ensure we provide a fair recruitment process
- Contributing to projects and initiatives within the TA function and broader HR team
- Ensuring compliance with IHS Markit policies and procedures

About you:

- Current demonstrable experience and success in managing and delivering end to end recruitment in the permanent Technology space, at all levels and on a national basis
- A mix of agency and inhouse experience preferred, those looking for their first inhouse role will also be considered
- A broad knowledge in Technology recruitment with strong experience in roles focused on C#, Java, Scala and Angular/React, Cloud & DevOps, QA & Automation
- Well-networked in the Technology market with existing go-to resources for networking, referrals and industry knowledge
- Experience working directly with hiring managers (all levels) and HR teams with an ability to quickly build partnerships
- A natural proactive search focused recruiter who enjoys creating and building talent pipelines for current and future roles
- A desire to learn and get involved in recruitment outside of Technology when needed
- An ability to work effectively in a busy environment, with competing demands whilst being very adaptable and flexible, demonstrating a propensity to take initiative with strong follow through and customer service orientation
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfortable taking ownership whilst working effectively and collaboratively within a matrixed environment to achieve group goals and objectives
- A strong negotiator with strong judgement and decision-making skills
