**Salary:£140 - £210 per day**
**Start Date: Immediately**
**Contract: Temporary to Permanent**GSL Education is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic and accommodating **Sociology Teacher** for one of our client secondary schools in**Greenwich, immediately**. The school wants to help its children develop to be capable, eloquent, and considerate young adults. Through a wide range of learningopportunities, they develop their leadership abilities, resilience, and independent thinking, and the effective pastoral team makes sure that students' emotional and mental health are just as vital as their academic success. The main goal is to make sure thatevery kid enjoys their time in school and performs to the best of their ability.
**About Sociology Teacher role**:

- Carry out responsibilities as guided by the Subject Leader.
- Be able to teach full-time. In the case of part-time, must be prepared to do general cover in other periods
- To efficiently prepare and present lessons in line with the demands of the Department's Scheme of Work and National Curriculum
- Ensure that support staff is used effectively in your classes.

**The successful Sociology Teacher will**:

- Be a qualified teacher with **QTS** or **QTLS**and a relevant degree.
- An ability to engage and motivate young people.
- Familiarity with teaching, assessment and examination processes within A Levels Sociology.
