**Cyber Security Specialist**
**Surrey / WFH**

**Role Responsibilities**
- This is not an IT / Network Cyber Security role, we are looking for Industrial Control Systemd experience, from any domain (FMCG, Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Automotive, defence etc)
- You wiil be working on an Industrial Control System product Cybersecurity Risk Management, including contributing to the accreditation activities;
- Product security design, development and qualification;
- Working within engineering teams to plan, design, code and test Industrial Control Systems complex system products;
- Working with 3rd parties in the satisfaction of system security requirements;
- Generating Requirements to Solution traceability;
- The creation of security document sets (RMADS, SyOps, procedures etc.) in support of product accreditation;
- Implementation of Secure by Design principles in all stages of a product lifecycle;
- Support the Product Cyber Security Manager in discharging their security accountabilities, working across a variety of Information Assurance and Cyber Security related topics;
- Set up and participate in Information Assurance and Cyber Security governance meetings as directed;
- Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders
- Ensure excellent client service;
- Support initiatives to embed Information Assurance / Cyber Security / Secure by Design culture within project teams and throughout the wider Defence Operating Unit;
- Participate in a broad company security awareness program, generating ideas and producing content in order to provide orientation, educational programs, and on-going communication;

**Person Profile**:
**Essential qualifications / experience**:

- Knowledge, demonstrable skills and qualifications in Operation Technology (ICS) and / or Cyber Security;
- Experience of conducting cyber / technical security activities within an Industrial Control environment, regardless of Industry Sector;
- A broad information assurance mind-set, able to assimilate and consider issues from the technical, process and business perspective;
- A pragmatic attitude to the implementation of security within a defence environment;
- A sound understanding of the procedures required to identify, quantify and address vulnerabilities within a product, project and organisation;
- Experience of the development and implementation of appropriate risk mitigation plans, policies, processes and technical controls;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral;
