**About us**
We are a small GP practice working across two sites in Bawtry and Blyth, Nottinghamshire.
Our experienced, knowledgeable Medical Receptionists receive, verify and forward incoming requests for medical services to the appropriate departments for timely processing and care. These busy professionals are responsible for accurately updating patient records and using their excellent social skills to respond quickly and professionally to patient concerns. Our Medical Receptionists also serve as the first-line of contact for patients who call the office with inquiries. They are always on the lookout for ways to improve the service we provide to our patients.
**Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and deliver correspondence to colleagues and clients.
- Answer enquiries and questions from patients, clients and other visitors to the clinic.
- Keep patient records accurate and up-to-date.
- Gather data from patients for billing purposes.
- Input data into the computer.
- Create appointment schedules.
- Schedule surgeries and check to ensure that all necessary forms are filled out.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
