A fantastic opportunity is available to join a busy team, to become a part of an iconic Cornish business as a Forklift Driver.

Our client is a family-run business which has grown massively throughout the years, looking for their next team member.

As a key member of their supply-chain facility, you will be working to help keep the warehouse and production operations running as efficiently and safely as possible, whilst upholding the high standards of work necessary to keep products transported and stored safely and securely.

**Duties to include**:

- Regular stock rotation and efficient material utilisation to achieve zero waste
- The security of stock and warehouse facilities
- Regular stock-taking and inventory checks
- Receipt and dispatch of goods, both internal and external
- Communicating with other departments in the business to manage goods in and out
- Securely and safely loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Maintaining Health & Safety compliance across the function
- A hands-on and can-do attitude to work, going over-and-above to support the various business functions.
- Meticulous attention to detail, focusing on quality of work and safety at all time
- Ability to think and react quickly to changes, taking ownership of issues and presenting solutions to keep things on track
- Exceptional customer service skills (internal and external), communicating clearly to ensure efficient and safe stock handling
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Have a counterbalance forklift ticket

- Working hours between 06:30am - 18:00pm with a 45-minute break.

**Hours**: 40 hours, 5 days per week, with Monday to Friday.
