Warehouse Operative

Main duties will include:

- Sorting/segregating of recyclable and general waste materials
- Shredding of paper and other confidential waste
- Baling & storing of sorted waste
- Wire Stripping for copper recovery
- Safe operation of Company plant and equipment
- Forklift operation (only if you have a valid licence)
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment/skips/bins
- Maintaining housekeeping levels within the warehouse and main yard
- Keep accurate records of waste arriving and leaving site by completion of waste transfer notes
- Duties involve regular light, medium and heavy lifting

Employees may be called upon to carry out other tasks out-with this list. Employees will be required to work both inside the warehouse and outside in the main yard and may be required to work at other locations. All duties mentioned above to be carried out in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with Company procedures and risk assessments.

**Salary**: £10.50-£10.90 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Alness: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)
