Butler Ross have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Purchasing Assistant to join an exciting FMCG company based in Keynsham, this role is 22.5 hours a week Monday - Friday, they are flexible with times across different days, there is also an option to work from home on a Wednesday. This person will be responsible for supporting the procurement function and managing incoming customer enquiries.
Duties of the Purchasing Assistant
- Researching and sourcing products, checking, and chasing documents.
- Liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Raising purchase orders.
- Tending to customer queries.
- Supporting teams in approving new suppliers and products.
Experience Required for the Purchasing Assistant
- Experience with customer service and has previously placed purchase orders.
- A keen eye for detail and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in excel.
- A natural problem solver with the ability to prioritise tasks.
Pay rate: £12 - £14 a hour
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 22.5 per week
**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
