Laser Operator

Northern Laser Ltd are Scotland's newest laser cutting and folding company. As a result of significant growth in the last 6 months we are looking to add an experienced Laser Operator to our team.

**Our laser is a state of the art 9kw Amada Ensis (fiber Laser).**
- Operating the CNC laser machine to ensure maximum productivity.
- Checking materials for size, thickness and metal grade prior to cutting.
- Understanding of engineering drawings
- Maintaining high quality of cut of components for our customers.
- Checking orders to ensure all parts are included for dispatch/delivery to the customer.
- Carry out regular maintenance checks
- Check gas levels
- Select, inspect and load material
- Carry out and record programming and set-up errors
- Ensure all documentation is actioned for accuracy
- Follow Health & Safety Policy & Procedures

Must have previous laser cutting experience. A forklift licence would be advantageous.

29 days annual leave.

Hours of Work: 8.30am-5.00pm (Can be flexible with shifts)

**Salary**: £12.00-£14.00 per hour
