**Water Testing Assistant**

Toro Recruitment is currently representing a Multi-Utility infrastructure provider who is looking to grow their Water Treatment department with Water Testing Assistant based UK Wide. The purpose of this position is to test, chlorinate and take samples to facilitate the commissioning of new Water Networks in the South East region.

**The Responsibilities of a Water Testing Assistant are as follow**:

- Execute the installation, testing, chlorination, and commissioning of water infrastructure as directed, adhering to Scottish Water Codes of Practice. Maintain a strong emphasis on safety and technical excellence, following both general and specific method statements, work procedures, and safety directives.
- Possess a thorough and complete grasp of all existing and Independent Water Network Testing, chlorination, and Sampling protocols.
- Undertake Final Connections, encompassing both intricate and straightforward primary tie-ins. If lacking qualification, this aspect will be integrated into your personal and business advancement strategy.
- Perform Secondary Connections, covering both intricate and straightforward scenarios.
- Receive and inspect equipment and materials for suitability prior to utilisation.
- Preserve the upkeep and functionality of vehicles, machinery, and tools. Notify the Project Manager promptly regarding any identified defects.

**The Requirements for the Water Testing Assistant is**:
**Essentials**:

- Water Safety Passport
- Water Hygiene
- Full UK driving license

**Desirables & also what you will be upskilled to**:

- NRSWA
- Machine Excavation (up to 10T)
- Final Connections
- Secondary Connections
- NCO2 / 3 Main Laying / Service Laying or Equivalent
- Experience of Water Mains, Testing, Chlorination and Sampling
- Street works card
