Proofreader (Temp)

Page Bros are looking for talented individuals to join the Typesetting team as proofreaders working on secure documents.

We produce high-quality secure materials in original and accessible formats.

**Role overview**

We are looking for skilled proofreaders to join the team in temporary roles until May 2023. Ideally these roles will be full-time but part-time will be considered.

The role involves proofreading documents at the following stages:

- initial creation from documents supplied by customer
- customer amendments taking the documents to new proof stages
- modified versions created from the above documents.

**Skills: Essential**
- Ability to work to deadlines, ensuring delivery of customers’ work on time.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to organise and prioritise your own workload.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy including Microsoft software.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat including the use of Comments to mark up files for typesetters to amend.
- Proofreading experience.

**Skills: Desirable**
- Use of sft software.
- High standard of education.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
