Governance Lead for Neonates and Paediatrics

We are excited to announce a new role within Neonatal and Pediatrics at Sherwood Forest Hospital.

The primary purpose of this role is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement.

The role of the Neonatal and Pediatric Governance Lead is to take responsibility for monitoring incident reports within the neonatal and pediatric services, identifying emerging themes, and sharing learning from incidents.

The Neonatal and Pediatric Governance Lead will contribute to investigations of significant events and serious incidents related to the Neonatal and Pediatric Service, overseeing the creation and monitoring of action plans within the scope of their role.

The post holder will also participate in national and local service evaluations, reviews, and audits.
