Position: Resilient Support Staff

Location: Newcastle (NE4 postcode)

Type: Full-time 8:30 - 4:30 Mon-Thur, 3:00 pm finish on a Friday

**Role Overview**

As a Resilient Support Staff member, you'll play a crucial role in providing individualised support and guidance to students facing social, emotional, and mental health challenges. Working closely with a team of dedicated professionals, you'll create a safe and nurturing environment where students can thrive academically and emotionally.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Work on a two-to-one ratio with students, providing personalised support and guidance.
- Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours and promote positive social interactions.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualised support plans.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with individuals displaying challenging behaviours preferred.
- Resilience, patience, and a compassionate approach to supporting vulnerable students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
