HR Coordinator working for a successful organisation in Northallerton, supporting the day to day activities of the HR team.

As a HR Coordinator you will:

- Provide administrative support for the HR department
- Note taking, letter writing, updating details, updating Excel spreadsheets, logging and tracking short and long-term sickness cases
- Assist with ensuring policies and procedures are up to date / clearly communicated and revised as appropriate with the support of the HR Manager
- Maintain inhouse database with the latest employee information
- Ensure that files and personal data are compliant with company procedures and legislation
- Take ownership of internal communications including weekly newsletter
- Organise Employee of the Month and other site engagement initiatives
- Weekly walk-around of entire site and worker interviews
- Share good practice and knowledge
- Support with recruitment - from approval to offer and onboarding
- Managing the roles in the recruitment systems, making amendments to roles e.g. confirming interviews, new starter set up support
- Support with Employee Relations activities, providing support and answering day to day queries
- Assist with disciplinary/grievance hearings in areas such as general misconduct/gross misconduct/absence management/punctuality/performance etc

This will be working full time Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, earning a competitive salary of between £24,000 - £24,700
