Kitchen Assistant

**Location**: Lillyburn Care Home, Birdston Road, Kirkintilloch

**Hourly Rate**:£10.42 per hour (Pay Increase Pending)

**Hours**: Full Time/Part Time

**Job Role**

To assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allocated budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

To Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, keeping stock and provisions.

To prepare and reset dining room as per Chef’s instructions.

**Qualifications and Skills**

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Good communication skills
- spoken and written English essential
- Team player
- Satisfactory PVG Record Check

**Desired**:

- Experience of food preparation for the relevant service user group

**Salary**: £10.42 per hour
