**Join Our Team as a Games Master for York's First Children's Escape Room - Candy Chaos (Due to open in April 2024)**

Are you passionate about creating magical and memorable experiences for children? Do you have a flair for storytelling, puzzles and excitement? We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Games Masters for our brand new children's escape room on the outskirts of York

**About Us**: We are Star Street Escapes, a brand new provider of immersive and interactive entertainment experiences for children. Our very first children's sweet shop themed escape room is aimed at 5 - 10 year olds and is designed to spark creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a safe and engaging environment.

**Role Overview**: As a Games Master, you will be the heart and soul of our escape room experience. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- **Facilitating Engaging Experiences**: Guide children through the escape room experience, ensuring they have a fantastic and challenging time.
- **Storytelling**: Set the stage for the adventure by delivering captivating narratives that enhance the overall experience.
- **Puzzle Master**: Monitor the puzzles and provide assistance where required. Reset the room after each game.
- **Safety First**: Ensure the safety of participants at all times and provide clear instructions on rules and guidelines.
- **Customer Interaction**: Welcome guests, interacting with parents and guardians, providing updates and ensuring a positive experience for all.
- **External Interaction**:Handle customer enquiries, concerns, or complaints in a professional manner and update social media.
- **Teamwork**: Collaborate with fellow Games Masters to enhance the overall quality of the escape room. Get stuck in and help out where needed

**Qualifications**:

- A passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations.
- Creativity and a passion for storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of puzzle design and problem-solving would be beneficial.
- Clear DBS Certificate required.

**Requirements**:

- Flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial.
- Must undergo training on safety protocols and escape room procedures.
