Production Operatives

**WHM Pet Group (Marriages) are looking for new team members to join their Hygiene teams. They will perform a designated role within the department, ensuring that they contribute to the efficient, effective and safe running of their area/line in order to fulfil the needs of the business.**

**Main Duties include**:

- Responsible for General Hygiene on site
- To create effective cleaning schedules by planning with production to maximise production output while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Completion of accurate cleaning records.
- Cleaning of Production Areas - appropriate waste disposal including recycling, general waste and reprocessing of product.
- Ensuring the outside of the premises are kept in good order.
- Identification and resolution of any potential pest proofing issues.
- Reduction of potential foreign objects in all areas.
- Maintain GMP standards in all areas, including warehouses with manual sweeping of large areas.
- Adhere to all Company Rules and Policies.
- Maintain high levels of work performance including attendance, timekeeping etc.

**Knowledge & Skills**:

- Understanding of COSHH responsbilites
- Understanding of correct Manual Handing Techniques
- Understanding of basic Health & Safety

This role is a 48 hour a week role, working Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, and 8am to 4pm on a Friday.

The current hourly rate is £10.00 per hour, with pay award pending in April.

All shifts have 1 hour a day paid breaks included.

Workwear/PPE provided.
