Food and Beverage Supervisor

Mulberry House in Ongar, Essex is a family owned and operated events venue. Our Georgian House and stunning woodland gardens host two large event spaces with outside wedding ceremonies and 24 bedrooms.

We host around 150 weddings per year. Our Afternoon Tea is served Tuesday - Sunday. On average we serve around 150 covers per week. (More in the winter when out of wedding season)

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team, due to our ongoing success and increase in business levels this is a new role that is being offered.

We are a really passionate and friendly team, we have a hunger to deliver wow experiences to all our weddings and ensure we continue to be the best go to venue in Essex. In 2023 we won, best wedding venue (historic) and best wedding venue (hotel) at the Essex Wedding awards. We also won best wedding venue hotel NATIONALLY at the Wedding Industry Awards.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£12.50 per hour

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Essex, CM5 9NL: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Restaurant management: 1 year (preferred)
- Bar management: 1 year (preferred)
- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
