Steel Store Cutter/Machinist

**Reporting to**

Production Manager

**Salary**

£15.00 per hour

**Hours of work**

Monday to Friday.

07:30 hours to 16:00 hours.

**Responsibilities**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- CNC Steel Cutter/Operator
- Review drawings, designs, and specifications to ensure precision in the final product.
- Inspect finished products and ensure that they meet specifications.
- Create custom parts based on customer requests or design specifications.
- Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Communicate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot production problems and find solutions.

**Requirements**:

- Apprenticeship in engineering preferred.
- Experience of metal/steel cutting using CNC machine
- GCSE or above in Maths and English.
- Experience in machining, metalworking, or related field required.
- Ability to read 2 D and 3 D drawings is essential.
- Experience with manual and computer-controlled machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and mathematical abilities required.

Pay: £15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
