**Your dream role**:

- We are looking for a **Credit Controller** to join our successful, international, business
- Build strong working relationships with all nominated customers to effectively manage and control debtors within agreed policies and procedures
- Ensure that customer payments are received to terms and accounts are maintained within authorised credit limits
- Achieve cash collection and debtors’ targets and complete daily allocation of customer receipts
- Ensure all monthly statements and reports are run and distributed without delay.
- Process all customer credit notes
- Opportunities like this don’t come along often - you will have exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders and complex projects globally.
- Effective credit evaluation and control for our Aftermarket business. Timely collection of outstanding debts, control of credit limits and timely resolution of queries (monitoring and support of AD Inc. and ADAP debtors)
- Authorisation of customer/supplier set up and amendments in line with departmental controls, ensuring internal procedures are regularly reviewed to ensure prevention of fraud
- Processing of company expenses (MEOL - including related payments)
- Control and administration of monthly Contra accounts between sales and purchase ledger
- Control of departmental post and equipment (franking machine, printers etc)
- Support and identify improvement opportunities across all activities and implement to maximise process efficiency via increased automation and providing appropriate governance

**What you will bring**:

- Experience in a similar position where you will have managed collections on a large volume of customer accounts (approx. 1000).
- If you have experience in a similar complex, global business - even better
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills at all levels, with a proven track record in query and conflict resolution.
- Driven, curious, and analytical. You won’t be afraid to challenge the status quo.
- You don’t need to be a tech whizz, but we do need you to be proficient in Microsoft packages - especially Excel.
- ERP experience is essential. Even better if you have experience of Syspro.
- Relationship building will come easily to you. You will have the ability to partner with stakeholders across the business.
- Things can be hectic here. You will thrive on being busy and be an expert multi-tasker.
