Instrument Technician

Competitive Salary plus shift allowance

Full time permanent - dayshifts - alternate starts on Monday to Thursday/ Tuesday to Friday

Key responsibilities include:

- Responsibility for the maintenance, repair and operational testing of instrument related equipment and systems to ensure efficient, reliable, and safe operation of the production facility.
- Completing scheduled and breakdown maintenance activities on the following: Safety Systems, Fire & Gas Systems, Flow Measurement Systems. Pressure, Temperature and Level Control. Gas Detection. DCS Systems. Hydraulic and Pneumatic Control Systems
- Raising relevant permits within the agreed time period to ensure that maintenance is completed in an efficient manner.
- Developing and reviewing operational and maintenance procedures

This role would suit someone with an electrical/mechanical background having completed an accredited apprenticeship or an HNC equivalent in an engineering discipline, ideally with previous experience in the Oil & Gas Industry. Compex training would be arequirement.
